Here are a few non wedding pictures from Maine. Even though it was very sunny and hot- I only have these from the first day. In between the wedding, we were swimming and sailing in the cold cold cold ice water most of the time, otherwise we were napping and eating great food, and catching up with family and old friends.
We got back late last night. Woke up, had coffee then went over to do the Martha Stewart Morning Living radio segment to discuss my new book Homemade Fun. Lots of people called in to share ideas about rainy day activities with their kids. It was just Kim Fernandez and myself, so we chatted with the callers about their fun ideas. They suggested makeshift theatre using clothesline and sheets, sock puppets, jumping down the staircase into a pile of pillows, chalk painting, lemonade stands and indoor picnics. I felt right at home!
The sunset wedding was dreamy, simple and elegant. Nature was the backdrop, love was the occasion! We will have more photos and I will share them.
